GLOSS’N’SEAL is a Professional Grade, High Performance, NanoPlus Water Based, Coating Sealer to provide a Gloss Film Finish to porous, rough, textured surfaces. Water Based, Breathable (Allows Moisture Vapour Transmission), Skuff Resistant, UV Resistant, Non-Yellowing, Hard Wearing and Durable. Easy to maintain.

HOW DOES IT WORK:
NanoPlus coating sealer molecules chemically bond to the porous, rough/textured surface creating a hard wearing, durable, gloss finish coating depending on the number of coats you apply. Dirt and liquids are now cleaned off easier from the surface.

WORKS ON:
For all porous and textured natural stone, encaustics, terrazzo, pavers, concrete etc. Surface must be porous, rough and/or textured to allow the product to properly bond. Adds a gloss finish depending on the number of thin, even coats you apply.

DO NOT USE ON:
Not for smooth or polished surfaces or ceramic or porcelain tiles. Surface must be porous, rough and/or textured to allow the product to properly bond.

WHERE TO USE:
For domestic, commercial, indoor and outdoor areas e.g. homes, supermarkets, airports, hotels, resorts, foyers, retail stores, walkways, driveways, kitchens, restaurants, bars etc

TEST FIRST:
Always test first in an inconspicuous area to determine ease of application, number of coast required, and final desired results. End user must determine suitability of product for their own use

PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY DIRECTIONS: 

1. Read entire label, SDS and technical bulletin before using;  
2. Wear appropriate gloves, skin and eye protection;  
3. Use when surface temperature is between 4°C & 28°C;
4. Surface must be clean, dry and free from sealers and coatings;
5. Do NOT allow sealer to drip or leave drip marks
6. Do NOT saturate the open grout joints;
7. Do NOT use on underside of tiles;
8. Do NOT use on smooth or polished surfaces - coating sealer requires a porous, rough/textured surface to properly bond to;
9. Avoid dragging furniture across the coating sealer to avoid scratches or damage to the coating;
10. Not for use on porcelain tiles, bench tops, table tops etc
11. Not recommended to be used in areas subject to standing or pooling water e.g. showers, swimming pools, spas etc. If using outdoors, ensure adequate water run off to prevent pooling water;

PREPARATION OF SURFACE:
Use XtremeClean+ or StoneWash+ to clean and prepare surface before sealing.

WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE YOU START:

1. Protective gloves, eye and skin protection;
   
2. XtremeClean+ or StoneWash+ to clean and prepare the surface for sealing;
   
3. Sealer applicator, paint roller or paint pad plus a suitable plastic container or paint tray;

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Sweep, vacuum or wipe the surface;
   
2. Apply sealer to clean, dry surface using a sealer applicator, paint roller or paint pad;
   
3. Ensure even coverage with a thin film coat - do not apply thick or heavy coats. Apply thin even coats for the best final result;
   
4. Avoid overworking the product to avoid air bubbles & drag marks;
   
5. “Feather” back to remove excess sealer and streak marks to leave a thin even film with no streak marks or puddling;
   
6. Apply next coat as soon as the previous coat is dry to the touch - minimum 30 minutes between coats;
   
7. Apply the next coat cross across the previous application e.g. 1st coat in a north-south direction & 2nd coat in an east-west direction;
   
8. Minimum 2 thin coats.  Apply more coats until desired level of gloss is reached. When applying subsequent coats, repeat Steps 2-7;
   
9. The surface is ready for light traffic when dry (minimum 6 hours). Keep surface dry for minimum 24 hours. Full cure in 24-48 hours.

TIP: If further slip resistance is required, add Grip-It P Powder (Anti Slip Powder Additive) to the FINAL coat.

COVERAGE:
Approximately 40-60m² per 4 litre per coat. Will vary depending on the porosity and texture of the surface. Also weather conditions, the application method and number of coats required.

LIMITATIONS:
Sealer is NOT a waterproofing agent and will NOT prevent surface wear or scratches or etching from harsh or acidic chemicals. Wipe spills as soon as possible to reduce staining & slip falls.

EXPECTED WEAR:
Will vary depending on surface texture and hardness, traffic wear plus frequency and type of  cleaning products used. Harsh cleaning including pressure washing, high alkaline, acidic or solvent-based cleaners and/or weather exposure will affect wear and performance. High traffic and exterior areas will require more frequent re-application. RE-SEAL AS NECESSARY.

MAINTENANCE:
Apply additional coats of GLOSS’N’SEAL over time as required. Only use EZYCLEAN+ for routine, everyday/weekly cleaning & disinfecting. It is an easy to use, rinse free and streak free, concentrated pH Neutral Cleaner. Does not affect the coating sealer.

STRIPPING: 
Use AQUA-STRIP or STRIP-IT when the time comes to remove the coating sealer.

HANDLING, STORAGE & CLEAN UP:
Close container tightly after each use; Store in original container between 4°C & 32°C. Shelf life is approx 3 years in unopened container - less after opening; Storage beyond that time does not necessarily mean the product is not usable.  Do a small test area first; Do not re-use container. Discard in rubbish; Clean tools and clothing with water before they dry.

FIRST AID:
Contact Poisons Information Centre (Australia Ph: 131-126, NZ Ph: 0800 764-766) Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not swallow. If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth well with water. If in eyes, holding eyelids apart immediately flush the eye with clean, running water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor. If on skin, wash thoroughly with water. If feeing unwell, seek medical attention.
